JTL connector error “(502) Invalid gateway” with e.g. DigitalOcean and Cloudways

Some customers of DigitalOcean or Cloudways (but also other webhosting/server customers) may occasionally experience a JTL connector error, which prevents the upload of images. This problem mainly affects customers of the WooCommerce connector, but can also affect customers of Gambio and other store solutions.

The JTL connector then regularly returns error messages of this type:

Error:
Exception: the remote server returned an error: (502) Invalid gateway.
The remote server has returned an error: (502) Invalid gateway.
Completion info send error: Please note that the log file of the server and the reconciliation log of JTL-Wawi are also necessary for error diagnosis!
The remote server has returned an error: (502) Invalid gateway.
The remote server returned an error: (502) Invalid gateway.

This is caused by a configuration error on the server side. I will be happy to discuss the possibilities of troubleshooting with you in a personal conversation. Also, the error can occur due to multiple configuration errors, which always requires an individual check.

As always, I can be reached via my contact form (click here) and I always offer my customers comparatively low hourly rates.
